Our Mission The mission of the Holt County Humane Society is to foster a healthy companionship between humans and animals, to help enhance appreciation of animals, prevent their abuse and underscore thier intrinsic value |
Our Purpose The purpose of the Holt County Humane Society, Inc., shall be to increase public awareness of responsible pet ownership, encourage and assist with spaying and neutering of animals, promote adoption of homeless amimals as well as to advocate investigation and prosecution of animal cruelty and abuse. |

The Holt County Humane Society, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization. We do not receive any monetary support from the government or national animal welfare organizations such as the Humane Society of the United States. We are funded entirely by private donations and we do not have any paid staff - we are strictly a volunteer organization and all money that is donated goes directly towards helping the animals. |
