For those of you who have been a part of the Holt County Humane Society, we want to announce that Shadow has a new forever home. She was extremely afraid of any man and when left alone suffered severe separation anxiety. A local police department finally took the dog from her owner. At the time, Shadow was 6 years old. And with her behavior issues, we knew it would be very difficult for her to find a good home. So she has been with us for the past 4 years and was always considered to be our shelter sweetheart. Recently when the HCHS lost its lease, word got out they we were looking for people so foster our dogs. One very special person was interested in fostering Shadow. We were all thrilled. Now Shadow has become such a part of the family that they have decided to give her a forever home. Finally Shadow is somewhere that she will receive all the love and attention she deserves.
